Fuel up for the day! After breakfast, your guide will meet you at the hotel, and we'll set off for the heart-pounding highlight: conquering the Qixing Mountain Via Ferrata.
We've selected the ideal Route 1 for you—a 1.2-km, 3-hour journey across the Big Wall, a thrilling Steel Cable Bridge, and up the legendary Lingyun Sky Ladder. All the essentials are included: park entry, cable car, shuttle, and even a trophy and certificate to commemorate your achievement.

Today begins with a scenic drive to the renowned Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. Your first highlight is ascending to Yuanjiajie via the world-famous Bailong Elevator—a stunning glass structure built directly into the cliff face.
At the summit, you’ll be greeted by an otherworldly landscape of towering sandstone pillars, including the iconic "Hallelujah Mountains," the dreamlike Platform of Forgetfulness, and the magnificent First Bridge in the World. Take your time to soak in the extraordinary beauty of these natural masterpieces.
The adventure continues with a visit to Tianzi Mountain, where you’ll explore Helong Park and the mesmerizing West Sea Scenic Area. Later, descend by cable car on a relaxing ride into the enchanting Ten-mile Natural Gallery—a landscape straight out of a fairy tale. If you wish, you may also enjoy an optional mini-train ride through this picturesque area (RMB 76 for round trip).

After breakfast at the hotel, you will take the world's longest cable car from downtown Zhangjiajie to the summit of Tianmen Mountain, which stands at over 1,400 meters above sea level. Stretching approximately 7,455 meters, this cableway holds the record as the longest of its kind globally. During the ascent, enjoy breathtaking views of the Avenue Toward Heaven through the cable car's glass windows. Afterwards, transfer to the Forest Sightseeing Cable Car to visit Tianmen Temple—a site dating back to the Tang Dynasty and one of only five temples in the world believed to house relics of the Buddha. Stroll through the temple grounds to admire its distinctive Qing-era architecture, set serenely amid lush greenery.
Next, get ready for two thrilling cliffside walks along the mountainside. First, experience the 60-meter-long and 1.6-meter-wide Glass Skywalk, suspended 1,430 meters above the valley. With its transparent panels, you’ll feel as though you’re walking in the sky on clear days, or through a mystical realm when clouds and mist envelop the path. Then, venture along the 1,600-meter-long Ghost Valley Plank Road, which clings dramatically to the vertical cliff face. Take a deep breath and embrace the adventure!
After these exhilarating activities, descend by escalator to Tianmen Gate —a monumental natural arch formed through geological processes, measuring 131.5 meters in height, 57 meters in width, and 60 meters in depth. Continue your descent by tackling the famously steep 999 Steps (or by the escalator), with sections inclined up to 45 degrees. This staircase is the only path leading to Tianmen Gate from the mountain’s base and is often traversed by pilgrims. Finally, take a short walk to the cable car station for your return journey down the mountain.
Your tour concludes with a transfer to Zhangjiajie Hehua International Airport or Zhangjiajie West Railway Station.
