DAY 2 Guangzhou/Zhangjiajie

Activities for today: Yuexiu Park, Chen Family Temple, Xiguan Old Houses, Qingping Market, Airport and hotel transfer (Guangzhou, Zhangjiajie)
Today, you will embark on a guided tour to explore Yuexiu Park, where you can admire the iconic Five Rams Statue, a symbol of the city. Following this, we will proceed to visit the Chen Family Temple. Lunch will be served at a local Chinese restaurant. In the afternoon, we will visit the Xiguan Old Houses and Qingping Market to experience the local way of life. Later, we will transfer to Guangzhou Baiyun Airport for an evening flight to Zhangjiajie. Upon arrival in Zhangjiajie, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel in the Wulingyuan Scenic and Historic Interest Area.

DAY 3 Zhangjiajie
Activities for today: Zhangjiajie National Forest Park
After breakfast at the hotel, we will head to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park to explore the Golden Whip Stream. This picturesque valley is reminiscent of the wonderland depicted in the movie Pandora. You will enjoy a leisurely hike lasting approximately 2.5 hours. Following this, we will visit Baofeng Lake. A one-hour hike through the magnificent Baizhangxia Valley will lead us to the tranquil Baofeng Lake, where we will embark on a short cruise.

DAY 4 Zhangjiajie
Activities for today: Zhangjiajie National Forest Park
Today, we will embark on a full-day tour of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. Our journey will commence with an ascent of Yuanjiajie Mountain via the Bailong Elevator, a remarkable glass elevator integrated into the mountain's side. Upon reaching the summit, we will embark on a 2.5-hour hike to explore the iconic Avatar Hallelujah Mountain. Subsequently, we will visit the Fascinate Platform (Mihuntai) to admire the stunning peak views and traverse the renowned NO. 1 Bridge under Heaven. Our adventure will culminate with a climb up Tianzi Mountain to witness the awe-inspiring sandstone peaks.

DAY 5 Zhangjiajie/Xi'an

Activities for today: Yellow Dragon Cave, Tianmen Mountain National Forest Park, Airport transfer (Zhangjiajie, Xi'an)
After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, your day will commence with a visit to the Yellow Dragon Cave, involving a 2-hour hike within the cave. Following this, a 40-minute drive back to the city will lead you to the exploration of Tianmen Mountain National Forest Park. Here, you will embark on a journey on the world's longest cable car, ascending to the summit of Tianmen Mountain. A 2-hour hike along the plank road in the Ghost Valley will provide a thrilling experience. Subsequently, a visit to Tianmen Temple is scheduled, followed by a return trip via cable car to Tianmen Cable Car Station. Descend to the middle station via cable car, then proceed on a bus ride through Heaven-Linking Avenue to explore Tianmen Cave. In the evening, transfer to the airport for your flight to Xi'an. Upon arrival, you will be met by a driver who will escort you to your hotel in the city.

DAY 6 Xian
Activities for today: Xi'an Daqin Terracotta Art Factory, Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum, Small Wild Goose Pagoda
After breakfast at the hotel, proceed to visit the Xi'an Daqin Terracotta Art Factory, where you can observe the intricate process of creating Terracotta Warriors and Horses. Following this, continue your journey to explore the renowned Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum, a significant archaeological discovery from the 20th century. This site houses an army of terracotta warriors and bronze chariots entombed in expansive underground vaults at Emperor Qin's tomb for over 2,200 years. In the afternoon, venture to visit the Small Wild Goose Pagoda.

DAY 7 Xi'an
Activities for today: Shaanxi Provincial History Museum, Ancient City Wall, Great Mosque, Muslim Quarters
After breakfast, begin your day with a visit to the Shaanxi Provincial History Museum, an impressive institution showcasing over 370,000 historical relics. In the afternoon, explore the Ancient City Wall, renowned as one of the best-preserved and largest city walls in China. Take a leisurely stroll past the Bell Tower and Drum Tower Square, located near your hotel, and visit the Great Mosque. Conclude your day with a relaxed walk through the nearby Muslim Quarters.

DAY 8 Xi'an/Luoyang

Activities for today: Railway station transfer (Xi’an, Luoyang), White Horse Temple , Shaolin Temple, Kungfu Performance
This morning, you will be accompanied to Xi'an North Railway Station to board a high-speed train bound for Luoyang. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by a local guide at Luoyang Longmen Railway Station and transferred to visit the White Horse Temple. Following lunch, we will embark on a 1.5-hour drive to Dengfeng to explore the Shaolin Temple, with a sightseeing duration of 2.5-3 hours, and witness a Kungfu Performance within the temple grounds. Subsequently, return to Luoyang for overnight accommodation.

DAY 9 Luoyang/Beijing

Activities for today: Luoyang Museum, Longmen Caves, Longmen Railway Station transfer
Following breakfast, begin your day with a visit to the Luoyang Museum before proceeding to explore the Longmen Caves, a stunning Buddhist site featuring over 1300 grottoes carved between the fifth and ninth centuries. After lunch, transfer to the Longmen Railway Station to board a high-speed train bound for Beijing. Upon arrival, you will be greeted and escorted to your downtown hotel for the night.

DAY 10 Beijing
Activities for today: Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Jingshan Park, Temple of Heaven
Today's Beijing city sightseeing tour will commence with a leisurely stroll through the world's largest square, Tiananmen Square, followed by an exploration of the Forbidden City. This vast imperial palace housed 24 emperors during the Ming and Qing dynasties, boasting a rich history of approximately 600 years. Subsequently, ascend the nearby Jingshan Park for a panoramic view of the Forbidden City. Enjoy lunch at a local Chinese restaurant. In the afternoon, proceed to visit the Temple of Heaven Park, a marvel of architectural and landscape design where ancient emperors once prayed for the well-being of the nation.

DAY 11 Beijing
Activities for today: Badaling Great Wall, Jade Factory, Ming Tomb (Changling)
Following breakfast at your hotel, you will rendezvous with the guide and embark on a journey to explore the renowned Badaling Section of the Great Wall, an iconic marvel and symbol of China. You can opt to trek along the wall or take the cable car for a scenic ascent (cable car available at an additional cost of CNY80 per person for a round trip, approximately US$13), followed by a brief hike on the wall. In the afternoon, a visit to the Jade Factory will provide insights into the local traditional Art Culture. Subsequently, a trip to the Ming Tomb (Changling) is scheduled. Return to your hotel for an evening at leisure.

Today, you are escorted to Beijing Capital International Airport (or Daxing International Airport) for your connecting flight.
