DAY 2 Zhangjiajie
Activities for today: Bailong Elevator, Yuanjiajie Mountain, Tianzi Mountain, Ten-mile Natural Gallery
After breakfast at the hotel, we will drive to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. You will ascend Yuanjiajie Mountain using the renowned Bailong Elevator. Upon reaching the summit, you will embark on a 2.5-hour hike to marvel at the Southern Sky Column (officially renamed "Avatar Hallelujah Mountain"). Next, we will visit the Fascinate Platform to enjoy stunning views of the nearby peaks before crossing the No. 1 Bridge under Heaven. Following this, we will ascend Tianzi Mountain for more breathtaking vistas. Finally, we will descend the mountain via cable car and take a leisurely walk (40 minutes) through the enchanting Ten-mile Natural Gallery (an optional mini-train ride is available for RMB 76 per person round trip).

DAY 3 Zhangjiajie
Activities for today: Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon (with Glass Bridge), Tianmen Mountain
Following breakfast at the hotel, we will head out to explore the captivating Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon, renowned as the geological museum of Zhangjiajie. One of the highlights of this canyon adventure is an exhilarating stroll across the world's most daunting glass bridge - the Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon Glass Bridge.
In the afternoon, we will proceed to Tianmen Mountain National Forest Park, where you will enjoy a ride on the world's longest cable car to reach the summit of Tianmen Mountain. You will embark on a roughly 2-hour hike along the Plank Road through Ghost Valley, which includes a glass walkway. Following the hike, we will visit Tianmen Temple before taking a scenic cable car ride back to the Tianmen Cable Car Station. From there, we will descend via the large cable car to the middle station and transfer to another cable car to witness the renowned Tianmen Cave.

Activities for today: Fenghuang Ancient Town
Following breakfast at the hotel, we will embark on a 3.5-hour drive to Fenghuang Ancient Town, a Miao settlement located in western Hunan province. Your guide will lead you to explore various sites including former celebrity residences, temples, museums, stilted buildings, and historic streets. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to enjoy a brief boat excursion on the Tuo River.
-Fenghuang Ancient Town was added to the UNESCO World Heritage Tentative List on March 28, 2008, under the cultural category. Renowned New Zealand writer Rewi Alley hailed this ancient town as the most beautiful in China. Established in 1704, the town boasts a rich history spanning 300 years. Serving as a cultural melting pot for the Miao and Tujia ethnic minorities, it features a remarkably well-preserved ancient core showcasing unique ethnic languages, traditions, arts, and a plethora of architectural remnants in Ming and Qing styles.

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, our guide and driver will accompany you to the train station for a high-speed train journey to Huaihua. At Huaihua South Train Station (Huaihua Nan), you will board your connecting train bound for Chongqing. Upon reaching Chongqing West Train Station (Chongqing Xi), our guide and driver will be there to greet you and assist with your hotel check-in.

Following breakfast at the hotel, we will embark on a visit to several renowned attractions including the Monument to the People's Liberation, Hongya Cave, Ciqikou Old Town, Chongqing People's Auditorium, and Chongqing People's Square. To appreciate the cityscape of Chongqing, we will ride the Yangtze River Cableway and utilize the Chongqing Rail Transit (Light Rail).
