Zhangjiajie Tianzi Mountain

Tianzi Mountain got its name due to the uprising of Xiang Dakun, "Xiangwang-son of Heaven" who was the chieftain of the Tujia nationality in the early Ming Dynasty. It is located in the center of Wulingyuan. It is low in four sides and high in the center. It has a large forest and spectacular scenery. Looking from the top, the magnificent view stretches with distinct layers, so that it is an ideal spot for viewing Wulingyuan peak forest. The most beautiful scenic spots are the Imperial Writing Brush Peaks, Yunqing Rock, Shentang Gulf and Grand Sightseeing Platform.
